Ready, Steady, Write # 9

We are surrounded by stories
But we don’t always see them.
Become aware…
I passed this scene yesterday
I was intrigued
Not only by who on earth would buy that horse lamp?!
But also by the body language of the couple
THERE IS A STORY HERE
TELL IT
Please share your story, a one line caption (ONE line!!) or
a personal response in the comments section… I’m wishing for the community to GROW
Ready? Steady? You know the drill…

Maria needed to turn away and compose her thoughts. How was she to respond to the man…. whom she thought was her soulmate…. who had made the decision to mark their first anniversary with the purchase of a glowing horse with a lampshade on it's head? It was a blow.

we'd have to be quick…. we'd have to b flies on the wall, camoflaged within the shadows…completely invisible and at top speed detonate the bombthe horse lamp stood boldly in the window, as though mocking humanity itself. Tristan standing directly at my side pressed the bricks on the side of the building looking for the key button; frustrated by his incapability i press my hand to the corner of the decorative brick and it pushed open. i climb inside followed by my companion into a side chamber of the store.the bundle of explosives against the wall right where the horse lamp stood steady counted dow. Tristan took out the pliers and went to work on the bomb5….4….3….2…. right before life itself could be blown to rubble, the bomb grows dead and we take it away to be disposed of properly at HQ.
